“NEW HORIZONS”
The first concert for the 2026 season offers a rich and varied program of music featuring the extraordinary music of composers such as Lily Boulanger, Amy Beach, Clara Schumann and Fanny Hensel-Mendlssohn. “Fragment of Sappho”, commissioned in 2020, will receive its second performance accompanied by our wonderful ensemble of musicians led by the outstanding Alastair Duff-Forbes. “Klage”, a setting by Christoph Kaufmann of a poem by the great German poet Rilke, will also be premiered
As an exciting contrast, the concert will also feature music from musicals such as “Casablanca” and “Les Miserables”.
